Wholesome Layers: A Clean Tiramisu Twist
Ingredients:
Cream Layer:
1 cup Greek yogurt (or thick coconut yogurt for vegan)
1/2 cup mascarpone (or cashew cream or dairy-free cream cheese)
2–3 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: 1–2 tbsp vanilla protein powder
Coffee Layer:
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
1 tsp maple syrup or a dash of stevia
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Ladyfinger Substitute (No-Bake Version):
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup oats (or oat flour)
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
1–2 tbsp brewed coffee (just enough to bind)
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Make the Base:
Mix almond flour, oats, maple syrup, nut butter, and a splash of coffee into a dough. Press into a dish and chill.Mix the Cream:
Whisk together yogurt, mascarpone (or vegan sub), maple syrup, vanilla, and optional protein powder until smooth.Assemble:
Brush the base with coffee. Layer cream on top. Repeat layers if desired.Finish:
Dust with cocoa powder. Chill at least 2 hours, then serve.
